Tess' family had found it difficult to devote enough time to Tess as they had an 18-month-old son. Then they discovered they were going to have another baby and they knew Tess would have even less time. Mary and Brian had been homechecked and sounded ideal for Tess. They came to meet her and after recovering from the shock of how big she was, they realised she was just a big softy. She has fitted into the family really well and is being spoilt rotten.
